- Preparation:
- The
materials to be placed in the pyrolysis furnace (biomass, plastic,

- Loading
the Material:

prepared materials are placed inside the pyrolysis furnace. Materials
should be loaded according to the furnace's capacity and instructions.
- Setting
the Furnace:

furnace is set to a specific temperature (usually between 400-800°C).
This temperature is necessary for the pyrolysis process.
- The
amount of oxygen is controlled. Since the pyrolysis process occurs in an
oxygen-free or low-oxygen environment, the furnace's air inlets and
outlets are adjusted.
- Heating:
- The
furnace is heated to the set temperature. During this process, the
material is exposed to heat and undergoes pyrolysis.
- During
pyrolysis, organic materials decompose into gaseous, liquid (pyrolytic
oil), and solid (charcoal) products.
- Collecting
the Products:
- After
the pyrolysis process is complete, the resulting products are collected.
Gases, liquids, and solid waste are collected and processed separately.
- Gases
are typically used in energy production, liquids are utilized as biofuel,
and solid products are used as biochar in agriculture or energy
production.
